●The National Testing Agency (NTA) has conducted the CSIR UGC NET June 2024 Examination and released the notification.

Exam pattern and syllabus for the UGC NET / JRF examination

Exam Pattern:

  • Mode of Examination: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
  • Duration: The examination lasts for 3 hours (180 minutes) without any intervals.
  • Sections: The examination typically comprises two papers:
  1. Paper-I: General Paper on Teaching and Research Aptitude
  2. Paper-II: Subject-specific Paper
  • Number of Questions:
  • Paper-I: It consists of 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), all of which are compulsory.
  • Paper-II: This paper includes 100 MCQs, all of which are mandatory.
  • Marking Scheme:
  • Each correct answer in Paper-I and Paper-II is rewarded with 2 marks.
